For close to 20 years, Vesta has worked inside healthcare operations, where leadership, organisation and patient impact meet. Her career has taken her from the wards and clinical pathways of Great Ormond Street Hospital and Royal Brompton Hospital in London to the operational front line at Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
At Great Ormond Street Hospital, she managed clinical operations and RTT pathways. At Euracare Advanced Diagnostics and Heart Centre in Accra, she designed the operational plan for a breast cancer screening programme. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she managed service coordination and passenger flow at Kotoka International Airport, running complex systems under extraordinary global pressure.
These experiences taught her that most private practices do not struggle because of their clinicians. They struggle because the structure behind the clinicians was never built: no clear roles, no documented workflows, no hiring infrastructure. Operations is not a background function. It is what makes a facility safe, consistent and ready to grow.
